Many of you have been contacting us to find out more about the recently launched, world’s first fast mimicking diet, ProLon. Here we’ve put together a few frequently asked questions to explain a little more about ProLon, what it is and how it works.
WHAT IS PROLON?
ProLon is a five day fast diet program that activates the body’s abilities to protect, repair and rejuvenate itself. Developed by leading researchers at the University of Southern California, ProLon is the result of extensive research spanning two decades. Kim is key opinion leader for ProLon, working closely with the US scientific team on the UK launch.
WHAT CAN PROLON DO FOR ME?
ProLon induces regenerative and rejuvenating changes, positively affecting a wide range of markers that contribute to ageing, such as inflammation, visceral fat and fasting glucose (blood sugar). It acts as a true cellular detoxification and of course, will promote weight loss, with most clients losing between 3-5lbs during a five day cycle.
HOW DO YOU DO PROLON?
ProLon is designed to be done three times over three months to start with, ideally with 25 days in-between. As a maintenance ProLon should be carried out three times a year for a typical healthy person.
WHAT DO I EAT ON PROLON?
You receive a box filled with five smaller boxes of food – one for each day. It couldn’t be more straightforward to do. The diet consists of nut bars, soups, olives, kale crackers, herbal teas and supplements with a schedule detailing what to eat when.
HOW MUCH IS PROLON?
£225 per five day cycle or £600 for three cycles if they are purchased together.

HOW DO I START PROLON?
There are two ways to do ProLon:
- You can book in for a consultation with one of our nutritional therapists. During your consultation we will discuss your current state of health, diet and lifestyle as well as what you wish to achieve doing ProLon. We will offer you the option of doing blood tests before and after ProLon in order to assess your results. I will also provide you with a programme for how to tailor off ProLon and the best diet for you to follow between your ProLon cycles.
- If you would like to do ProLon by yourself and feel that you don’t need additional advice or support, we can organise for you to undertake ProLon provided that you are healthy to do so. We will run through a series of questions with you over the phone or via email to ensure there are no reasons why you should not do ProLon. Once we are happy that you’re eligible we will give you a special practitioner code enabling you to order ProLon online.
