TV Appearance: Wedding Weight Loss

In the summer of 2014 Kim Pearson worked with three brides on ITV This Morning’s Weight Loss Wedding feature to help them lose weight for their big day. Our team have worked with many brides who want to look and feel their best on one of the biggest days of their lives. It’s always an honour to be a part of their journey.

One of the brides, Kat, shared her story and her experience of working with Kim.


Kat shared some insights as to her diet and lifestyle prior to working with Kim

“Before I was lucky enough to work with Kim I was not healthy at all.  I love my food and my wine and was kidding myself that if I ate healthy food, surely the weight would come off?  I’ve always been a bit of a greedy guts, so ate huge man size portions (like my other half’s) and drank a couple of glasses of wine most nights, with a bit more at the weekends.  It’s what a lot of us do, stressful day = reach for the wine.


Kat went on to talk about her experience working with Kim.

“Kim went through my diet with me, showing me the enormous amount of calories, sugar and refined carbohydrates I was consuming. She made me realise if I cut down my wine intake and ate a certain combination of foods that was right for me, I would get the results I was after.

Her advice and recipes were amazing, there’s no calorie counting so you don’t feel like you’re missing out.  I wasn’t hungry once!  I missed the wine to begin with, but came up with some fun non-alcoholic cocktails to make those days a bit easier.

Kim’s support has been so fantastic throughout, a really easy to understand diet, so much encouragement with it and the results are unbelievable!  2 stone off in 10 weeks, I cannot believe what I’ve achieved and it is all down to Kim.  Even the other half has lost a stone, just by changing some bad habits that had crept in.”


Kat finished by sharing how she feels at the end of her transformation.

“I now know I am going to walk down the aisle at my wedding feeling beautiful and confident. Something I wouldn’t have felt without Kim’s help.

If you want to lose weight in a healthy way, no fads, no calorie counting, just good clean food, Kim is an absolute expert. I wouldn’t be who I am today without her.

Stéphanie is a skilled nutritional therapist and functional medicine practitioner with additional training in eating disorders, disordered eating and obesity. She believes that working towards both physiological and mental health is key in achieving optimum wellbeing.


Stéphanie’s personal experience of emotional eating and the ongoing struggle to find the right support led her to combine the science of nutrition with behavioural coaching to motivate and empower her clients. She specialises in helping people who struggle with their weight and their relationship with food. She helps them develop a healthier and more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies.

Ania is a firm believer that improving your health and losing weight should be a positive, empowering journey, not one centred around deprivation.


After being diagnosed with two autoimmune conditions in her twenties, Ania spent several years educating herself on the power of food and nutrition. She put it all into practise and changed her diet and lifestyle, reversing her endometriosis and thyroid disease. After experiencing such a significant improvement in her health, Ania had a big desire to help others. She embarked on a four year journey to study nutrition, graduating from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition with distinction.
